Study Guides
Study Guides are required for science and social studies. You will submit the study guide when it asks for the sample work to be submitted by drop box in your lessons. Study guides can be typed or handwritten. Completing study guides will help in many ways:
- Earn a good grade on the sample work.
- Earn 10 points of extra credit towards your unit tests. If you scored 100% on your units tests then you will get 2-3 extra credit points (with a maximum score of 111% on SS tests and 108% on Science tests).
- Practice note taking skills required for MS and HS to reinforce learning.
- Reduce test anxiety by using the study guide during tests and quizzes.
- By re-reading study guide notes, you are more likely to retain the information. Repetition helps with memory.
